Reynolds says he's already spoken with aerospace companies about the steps that would need to be taken to convert planes into hospitals by removing seats and enabling them to operate with a pressurized cabin at ground-level.

Technion University Aerospace researcher Neta Blum told that repeated cycles of pressurizing and depressurizing the cabin could cause 'fatigue cracks' in the plane's fuselage - potentially deterring airlines from loaning aircraft out.

If the trial supports his theory, Reynolds says the treatment could be rolled out worldwide by emptying out airplanes - thousands of which have been grounded during coronavirus lockdowns - and converting them into field hospitals given that they're already fitted with pressure systems.

'There was one day, we have a tank where she was just rehearsing and testing and we have some windows into it, and I go in there and she's just walking on the bottom [of the tank] left and right, left and right, left and right, then she sees me in the window and she just waves. I couldn't believe it!'

'The woman was pulled unconscious from the water by members of the dive course - who were able to commence CPR prior to our arrival,' Inspector Karl Cronan, Duty Operations Manager, NSW Ambulance said.

•Last but not least, divers should consider buying their own scuba weights and snorkels: - These pieces of scuba gear not merely will be used throughout every dive; however they are items that need personalization for particular people.

These basic gears are vital for an amusing as well as safe dive. Nearly every expert have the same opinion that there are 5 items mainly which every diver needs to pay for if they are serious with their profession of diving, yet if they are just commencing their certification. At the same time as these items can be leased, it is often germ-infested furthermore problematic to do so.

•The second part of set in scuba gear that a solemn diver must purchase is for his feet that are a good pair of swim booties: - Booties are similar to water socks in that they protect a person's feet from the rocks, fish, as well as sharp facades in the water.

Avatar 2 and 3 are being filmed at the same time and have a combined budget of $500 million. Despite the COVID-19 outbreak, Avatar 2 is still scheduled to hit cinemas in December 2021.  The third film is due for release in 2023.

20th Century Fox have released new behind-the-scenes photos from the set of the Avatar sequels. In this picture, Sam Worthington, Kate Winslet, Zoe Saldana and Cliff Curtis are seen floating in a tank during a break from filming in New Zealand

The pictures, posted Friday to the official Avatar Twitter account, were taken earlier this year on set in New Zealand. Filming for the sequels is currently on hold due to the coronavirus outbreak, although visual production work is still continuing in Manhattan Beach, California.

'They're all perfectly capable of acting underwater, very calmly while holding their breath. We're not doing any of this on scuba. And we're getting really good data, beautiful character motion and great facial performance capture.'

Lungfish Dive Systems, a British company that manufactures scuba equipment, is spearheading a global initiative to explore whether hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) could reduce the COVID-19 fatality rate by helping patients breathe better and giving their lungs a chance to recover.

'On the bright side, New Zealand seems to have been very effective in controlling the virus and their goal is not mitigation, but eradication, which they believe that they can do with aggressive contact tracing and testing,' the director said.

'We've done a tremendous amount of testing. We've got six teenagers and one seven-year-old, and they're all playing a scene underwater. We've been training them for six months now, with how to hold their breath, and they're all up in the two-to-four-minute range,' he explained.

'Kate Winslet had to train in this and she got up to a static breath hold of just about seven minutes. It's amazing, it's mind over matter. You see Kate going underwater and she just felt so comfortable.

But Reynolds and his team believe airplanes could serve as an alternative for the chambers because they regulate pressure in a similar manner when flying at altitudes where the air is too thin for people to breath.

Dr Gerado Bosco, a professor at the University of Padua in Italy who specializes in hyperbaric therapy and biomechanics, is currently waiting for approval to begin testing HBOT to treat COVID-19 patients.
