No worries - I'll be back next week with a fresh WW post; I understand I've been away for a while! I'm guessing we all probably have. This season is such a wonderful time to just kick up the feet, read a fresh book, and just enjoy family time. And fundamentally every cookie around the corner. That being said, I've done my fair talk about of eating, drinking, and cooking. Tony's birthday was the other day and I got the pleasure of making him a edition of Ruler Arthur Flour's deep dish pizza , after that homemade French Silk Pie for dessert. Swear to goodness, it had been the best food I've available him. The pie was ideal. I really experience awful about not really posting the formula, but it also seems a bit wrong to toss you a dessert filled with butter, cream and delicious chocolate when we're all trying to eat healthy again. What do you think? If you'd like the formula, I'd be pleased to ensure it is again and picture it. I want to know! Next up! I also celebrated my birthday in Chicago last week. (So yes, you can see how I am so busy outside of your blog.) On the morning of my birthday, Tony took me to brunch then we visited a no-kill animal shelter; per usual I wanted to collect all of the cats. He also got me the cutest Michael Kors handbag which I wear everywhere now. Later on that night time, we went out to dinner and to a present. Overall, it had been a really great and soothing birthday. This next week I'm going to be diving back into baking and cooking. I'm aiming to shy away from too many baking recipes, but you know it's the best move to make. Overall I have some really interesting things planned as well as perhaps some brand-new features on the blog, too! Okay, so snacks time. This formula was apparently so delightful that Tony ate an entire batch in one evening. YEP… ONE Night time. I actually don't blame him. I'm a HUGE fan of sugary and salty snacks. ONCE I was small my mom utilized to drizzled peanut butter on the top of our snacks, so that's what actually inspired this formula. It's similar to caramel corn, except not as crunchy and not overly special. I skipped the corn syrup and opted for honey instead; some bacon can be added to the formula because hello - peanut butter and bacon is the most magical mixture. EVER. This popcorn would be a wonderful addition to your brand-new Year's appetizer table, or simply even for a little Weekend night football action. Either way, I hope you love it. And of course, the chocolate drizzle is completely optional. If you wish to leave it off, that's flawlessly fine. The snacks is going from the chains. You can also make this a combination by incorporating pretzels and peanuts, or whatever you can get the hands on. I hope you might have a safe and happy brand-new year. Xoxo. Prep time: 10 mins Cook period: 20 mins Total time: 30 mins Ingredients 3 tablespoons honey 4 pieces cooked bacon, prepared and finely chopped 1/4 teaspoon sea salt, plus much more to taste For the drizzle: Instructions Pop your popcorn with whatever technique you choose. Turn off high temperature and pour fifty percent of the caramel sauce on snacks in pan. Add the rest of the snacks and peanut butter caramel sauce and collapse snacks over until it is mostly covered with sauce. Sprinkle sea salt over caramel snacks and again fold more than. Instantly remove popcorn from baking pan and spread evenly in wax paper. If you choose to do the chocolate drizzle: Place the chocolate potato chips and coconut oil within a microwave safe dish for 20-30 seconds, stirring until chips are all melted. Drizzle melted delicious chocolate all over caramel corn and invite to harden for 20 mins. You can place the popcorn in the refrigerator for a few minutes to help harden the delicious chocolate a little. Popcorn is good for 3-4 days stored at space temperature in a pot or plastic handbag. Serves 8. About 1 glass per serving. To create this formula vegan: Omit bacon. Use dark brown rice syrup instead of honey, and make sure chocolate is usually vegan. You can replace dark brown sugar with coconut sugar, I'm confident the results would taste similar. Happy belated birthday and happy new year!
